By default Windows does not allow users to copy paste in CMD. Any command copied from the internet or from elsewhere can’t be copied in Command Prompt(CMD). And also Windows does not allow users to copy command from CMD to paste in anywhere they want. But there is an option in CMD by which we can copy paste in CMD. And today we are going to learn how to enable copy paste in CMD.

If you enable this system then you can easily paste any command in CMD copied from the internet or excel/word file or from anywhere, and also you can copy command from CMD to paste wherever you want.
So let’s start…

How to enable copy paste in CMD

Follow the steps given below-
1. Open CMD. To open CMD just type CMD in the search bar, or press Windows+R and type Run and then OK.
2. Right-click on the title bar of CMD, then select Properties. And then you will see a popup on the screen.

3. On the right-hand side under Edit option you will an option named QuickEditMood, check the box of that option. Then click on OK.
4. Everything is done. Now you can copy paste in CMD.

Copy any command from anywhere and right-click in CMD, then you will see that the command is pasted automatically.
And to copy from CMD you need to select and press ctrl+C or just select and right-click.
